Paul Robert Davidson, February 20th, 1925 to December 22nd, 2022 - Devoted husband of the late Grace Ellen Davidson (Née Bowman) for 61 years; loving father of William (Linda) Davidson and Nancy (Richard) Sauvé, predeceased by son Robert Davidson (2004). Proud and adored Grandpa to Gordon and Ashley Sauvé, Daniel and Stefanie Sauvé, Jonathan Thompson, Michael Thompson and Christopher Thompson. Great Grandpa to Manon Sauvé, Olivia Sauvé, Jack Sauvé, Benjamin Sauvé, Katelynn Thompson and Matthew Thompson. Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A veteran of WWII, Paul had a remarkable 31-year career with the Government of Ontario, managing several Provincial Parks including Presqu’ile, Emily, Serpent Mounds, Darlington, and Balsam Lake before he retired in 1983. Will be forever remembered by all those who knew him. In keeping with Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. A celebration of life to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
