Following a short battle with cancer, Paul Lummiss of Kirkfield, Ontario, peacefully passed away on November 21 2022 at the age of 73 years, with his family by his side.

Paul leaves behind, and will be lovingly remembered by, his partner Sharon Black; daughters Lillian Lummiss and Robin (Fred) Beatty Hillier; grandchildren Leilania Novais, Danica Wiebe and Owen Hillier; siblings Susan (Bruce) Moxley and John (Marylou) Lummiss.

He will also be dearly missed by his work family at The Imrie Group and his best friend Hugh. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Jean Lummiss and brother Mark Lummiss.

Paul attended West Hill Collegiate (62-66) and Lakehead University for Structural Engineering (68-72).  As for the rest, his granddaughter says it best:  “He was cool, and if you knew him, I don’t need to explain anything else.” 

At Paul’s request, no service will be held.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
