Paul Albert Strassburger passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday May 21, 2023. Paul was the loving husband to the late Edith " Geri " Lyons. Cherished father to son Michael (Brenda) , daughter Susan Kirkwood (Mike) and beloved grandfather to Samantha and Shayne Strassburger and Michelle and Melissa Kirkwood. Paul is also survived by his sisters Carol and Charlotte as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul is predeceased by his father Albert and mother Matilda as well as sisters Lois and Ruth. Dad enjoyed following all the exploits of his grandchildren and was an avid hockey player and fan. He enjoyed everything outdoors - golf and particularly hunting and fishing at the " lunge bay camp". He was a long time member of the Kawartha Kavaliers. Paul will be greatly missed by many extended family and friends. A time of remembrance will be held at Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel St. Monday May 29th from 11am - 1pm followed by a graveside service at Riverside cemetery.
