Peter Talbot Beer

Our beloved father, papa and great papa passed away Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 in his 71st year at home surrounded by the love of his family. He was married to the late Linda Beer (Stubbings) for 43 years. His children Jeffrey Beer (Charlotte) and Andrea Lalonde (Randy), his grandchildren Kayla, Joshua, Levi and Evan and his great grandchild Kyson experienced his genuine love and wisdom making memories they will cherish forever.

Peter is predeceased by his father, Edgar Beer, and mother, Helen Beer (Talbot). He will be deeply missed by his sister Marguerite Mosey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and their families.

Peter will be greatly missed by his partner Lynn Voyer and her children Kendra, Brad and Jeff and their families.

Peter was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, and mentor. He believed that hard work was the key to achieving your goals and taught us that honesty and integrity should always come first in all relationships. He was straight forward, outgoing, positive and could talk to anyone.

Peter graduated from LCVI in Lindsay and attended Ryerson School of Business before working in sales and management at Sears. He operated the Beer family farm for two decades. A change in paths lead him to become an HVAC mechanic and business owner.

Peter never tired of new challenges in his careers and was a resourceful problem-solver. He believed you do it right the first time, and ultimately his relationships with people made him successful.

In years past, Peter was involved with the Bethany United Church choir, board of stewards, the curling club and in Scouting. He enjoyed antiquing, gardening and playing cards. Recently he was enjoying cottage life.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 13th, 2023 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 at 11:00am.
