Phyllis Margaret (Bragg) Markussen - In her 90th year, entered rest on August 20, 2022. Devoted and loving wife of 70 years to Andy. Loving mother to Leo and his wife Christine. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Julie (Mike) Nicholls, Aaron Markussen, Kim (Mike) Staples. Great Grandmother to Abby, Cody, Jacob, Brooke, Claire, Serenity, Harmony and Ben. Predeceased by her parents Fred & Minnie Bragg of Tabor, AB and sister Edith (Cliff) Eagelson of Calgary, AB.  Phyllis and Andy owned and operated Kawartha Landscaping. Phyllis cherished her friendship with some special women in her life, Bonnie Houghton, Jean Johnson, and Leanne Couvier and will be greeted at the gate by her closest and dearest friend Gwen Jenkins. Visitation will be taking place on Friday August 26, 2022 at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Interment at Riverside Cemetery to follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be greatly appreciated by the family.
