Richard (Rick) Deighton entered into rest on April 7, 2021 at the age of 61. Rick was the loved son of Hartley and Pat Deighton and cherished husband of Louena. Father of Brock (Angela), Chad (Amber), Adam Bakos (Ana), Kathryn Bakos (George) and his 3 grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary Jane (Paul) Herlihey, Paul Deighton, and Steve (Pauline) Deighton. Survived by his many nieces and nephews. Richard was a civil engineer, graduated from the University of Toronto. Founder and creator of Deighton Associates. He had a passion for the outdoors, music, artistry and fine wine. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness and will be missed by all the lives he touched. Due to COVID-19: in-person attendance will be limited. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Lindsay.
