Guy, Ruth Margaret (née Murphy) – Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Ruth, in her 84th year was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Guy for 60 amazing years. Devoted mother of Ron (Melanie), Rob, Ross, Tracy, and predeceased by her daughter Jeanette (survived by Steve Cos). Loving grandmother of Jessica, Derek, Christopher, Travis, Jennifer, Andrew, and Mathew, great-grandmother to Rayna. Ruth is survived by her brother Bill (the late Joan), the late Barbara (the late Tom). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Ruth was a devoted wife and mother, taking pride in her family, her garden, and caring for her birds. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 12:00p.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 1:00p.m. Reception to follow. A private interment has taken place at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, Peterborough. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
