Obituary for Sandra Jean Reynolds

Sandra Jean Reynolds entered into rest at Victoria Manor on October 31, 2023 in her 80th year. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Fern. Loving sister of Joseph Jr. also predeceased. Sandra is survived by her sister-in-law Deanna, her niece Carrie Reynolds (Bill) and her great-niece Kira Rutherford (Simon).

Sandra spent her entire 36 year teaching career at Queen Victoria Public School where she taught Grade 2. She assissted with any sporting events and was tasked with getting the new playground installed before she retired in 1998. She was an avid and accompllished curler. Her winters were spent curling both in-house and competitively. Many hours were spent in curling rinks across Southern Ontario. She loved to travel to tropical destinations as well as many Canadian destinations. Summers were spent at the cottage entertaining family and friends. She hosted :Christmas in July" for many years with "Santa" putting in an appearance. Many boating excursions through the Trent-Severn were enjoyed.

Cremation has taken place. As requested by Sandra there will be no service. In lieu of flowers if you wish to make a donation to one of the following it would be appreciated; Canadian Cancer Society, Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or Queen Victoria Public School. Donations may be made by cheque through Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay or online with the links provided below.
