Sidney “Sid” Paul Ballik – Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday August 17, 2022. Beloved husband to Laurie for over 47 years and loving dad to Cathy Ballik. Cherished Poppa of Megan, Alex and Mason. Son of Dorene and the late Sid Sr. Brother of Debbie, David, Mike, and Susan, and brother in-law, Keith. An avid hunter who loves to spend his time in “the bush”, Sidney retired from the Durham District School Board in 2017. He will be missed by many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North on Sunday August 21, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Monday August 22, 2022 from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am.
