Obituary for Sue Campbell

Campbell, Susan - Passed away peacefully in hospital with family by her side on July 27, 2019 at the age of 71, only seven months after the passing of her beloved husband Carson. Loving mother of April (Gerry), Peter (Diane), Karina (Andrew), David (Rachel), and Montana (Christina). Proud grandma of 12 and great-grandma of 5. She will fondly be remembered by her mother-in-law Jean, and many friends and extended family. Since a very young age, Susan was a passionate horse lover and horseback rider. She was also an avid cat lover, rescuing many cats and kittens and had a genuine heart for animals. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home, online condolences may be left at www.mackeys.ca

Annette Hamilton

I am so sad to have read of my old friends passing this week in the Lindsay newspaper. Sue and I met while attending JG Workman Public School ..probably grade 3 or 4. We both moved with our separate families and re-met again in high school. We worked together at a few jobs over the years and remained friends for years. I knew all her kids. We lost touch a while after she married Carson. Maybe some of her kids will remember me. Condolences to you all. Love Annette Hamilton
