It is with great sadness we share the passing of Susan Nancy Lewis-Foubister (Britton) at age 73. Susan passed away April 10, 2022 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay after a battle with cancer with her adoring husband Ian by her side. Susan is survived by her loving husband Ian Foubister, daughters Stacey Lewis and Shelley Lewis, grandchildren, Olivia, Liam, Lilly and Scarlett, and Great Nanny to Hudson. Susan is the daughter of the late Lloyd (Betty) & Margaret Britton, sister to the late Beverly Moore, survived by siblings Gail Wideman, Tom (Kim) Britton, Gord (Kathryn) Britton, Morgan (Lori) Britton, Barbara (Paul) Boudreau, and David Britton. Susan will be remembered as a caring aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Susan was born in Scarborough on January 5, 1949, where she remained living for almost 70 years before she and Ian welcomed retirement life with a move to Lindsay. Susan could often be found cooking, baking, and camping with family and friends. Susan and Ian were inseparable and made life an adventure side by side. What made her happiest was family and the time spent with them. She was the biggest cheerleader for her children and grandchildren and would take any opportunity to show how proud she was. Susan had a natural ability to nurture everyone in her life and was always a caregiver to all. Her last weeks of life were filled with so much love and care from family and friends, it was so heartwarming to see her on the receiving end of the care she had instilled so many. She is loved beyond measure and already missed beyond words. We welcome everyone to join us as we gather to remember Susan on April 16, 2022 at 1:00pm at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay St N., Lindsay, Ontario. Cremation has taken place.
