1921-2021
Passed away peacefully February 24, 2021 at Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph, a few days prior to her 100th birthday. Thelma was the loving wife of Ivan Anderson (2000). Devoted mother to Joan Jenkinson. Predeceased by her daughter Janice Gosselin, infant son Wayne and sons-in-law Michael Jenkinson and Irenee Gosselin. Proud grandmother of Kelly Gordon, Karla Jenkinson (Adam McInnis), Brian Gosselin (Shannon) and Anne-Marie Gosselin. Great grandmother of seven.
Thelma was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters and her parents Mossom and Gertrude Pogue, Verulam. Thelma and Ivan farmed in Cameron until retiring to Lindsay. Thelma’s life was one of service to her Lord and Saviour, a loving, caring, sharing spirit with all those blessed with her friendship and presence. She is now in God’s loving embrace, reunited with her loving family, walking amongst His beautiful gardens which brings joy and peace to those left behind. An intimate celebration of life was held at the Mackey Funeral Home with interment at Fenelon Falls Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Salvation Army Food Bank. A special thank you to the doctors and staff for their wonderful care over Thelma's 13 year residence at Riverside Glen.
