Burnett, William John "Jack" - Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 15, 2019 at the age of 91. Loving husband to Velma for 35 wonderful years. Father of Brian, step-father of Dave Johnson (Sandie), Dan Johnson, Dean Johnson (Brenda), and Tracy Johnson. Grandpa to Carissa Blake, and Jason Johnson, and Rob and Ken Barnes. Jack is predeceased by his siblings Jim, Don, Murray (survived by Muriel), Alex (survived by Vivian) and Betty. In keeping with Jack's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Saturday, March 23rd with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2:00p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be greatly appreciated by the family and may be made via cheque at the funeral home or online at www.mackeys.ca
