The Lindsay Muskies are saddened to hear of Bob's passing this week. Bob was the radio voice of the Muskies. I remember listening to those junior hockey games on CKLY, i can still hear his voice, the finest details of the game and the excitement he could cast over the radio waves from a cold rink somewhere in Ontario. My grandparents who were at their farm in Oakwood were able hear how i was doing when he would call my name out. I had the pleasure of speaking to him on many occasions over the 2 years i played for the Lindsay Bears. When we were able to catch up after many years at my sports hall of fame induction, it was a joy to hear him speak about the earliest years of my jr hockey career. His voice was just the same as i remembered it. When i shook his hand, he remembered exactly who i was! I'm sure he is calling a play by play game from somewhere tonight. After all, it is Friday!
