Colbert, Shane Adam – (Employee of Wendell Motors, Kitchener) – Passed away peacefully at his home, while in his father’s arms after a 2 year battle with a brain tumor, on Sunday, June 19th, 2016. Shane was the dearly loved son to Mike Colbert and loving brother to Shawn, Misti Dawn, Dusty Rose and Amber Lee. Shane will be missed especially by his dog Mr. Higgens, adored uncle of Kellar, Annabella and Cosmo. Shane was the nephew to Don (Evelyn) Hart and Keith (Annette) Hart. As per Shane’s wish cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705)328-2721. If desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Hamilton Juravinski Cancer Center through the funeral home or online at www.mackeys.ca. The family would like to thank Marla, PSW Christina, Nurse Patty and Alison for becoming part of the family and their excellent care.
