Alexandra (Sandy) Theresa Richards (nee Gadzek) – Entered into rest peacefully in her 93RD year at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes, July 25, 2016. Beloved wife of late Roy Richards. Predeceased by her parents Peter Gadzek and Anna (Lichacz) and her siblings Mary, Kathleen, John, Lloyd, Marion, Joef, Nancy, Peter, and Andrew. Dear mother of Wayne Richards (Shelagh Allin), Lynne Willis (Greg Clouston), Dale Parks (Garry) and Darlee Chittick (Reid). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Trevor Aaron (Maggie), Jason (Anita), Kellie (Stephen), Amy (Efren), Amanda (Darryl), Ashley, Forrest (Michelle), Byron (Giselle) and her great grandchildren Conley, Sophia, Eva, Evan, Zayne, Julie, Sean, Sabrina, Demian, Matthew and Alexander. Alexandra will be sadly missed by her nephew Winston (Deenie), dearest friends Richard and Pat and many other nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Dr. Ready, Community Care, Mandy from Paramed, Heather from Castle Keep and especially the staff at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes for their wonderful care. Special thanks to Alexandra’s great neighbours, Marlene and Floyd, Rick and Cheryl for all their kind help and friendship. A Private Family Graveside Service and a “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
