Alfred Lloyd Graves

Lloyd was born Feb. 26th, 1944 in Newmarket and grew up on the family farm with his sister and two brothers. At a young age he enjoyed working with horses and driving tractors. In highschool Lloyd enjoyed all sports but basketball was his favourite.

After highschool Lloyd attended the University of Waterloo to work on his teaching degree. During his first year of university his parents were killed in a car/train accident. His sister Maude and her husband Bob were happy to have him come and live with them.
