On behalf of Sandra and her family we are all very sorry for your loss. He was a great man and was always there for our family. He talked about his grandkids all the time. My kids loved when he came to watch their hockey games and they played extra hard knowing he was there. He taught me to drive when no one else would. He was always a very caring and supportive person. When my daughter was born with down syndrome his words and advice helped me through all my worries. Our family will miss seeing him at our family functions and events. My kids are wearing their Guelph Storm hats with pride. RIP Cliffy.

Angela Long

Whenever I saw my Uncle Cliff, he always made me feel special. He asked questions. He smiled. He cared. Now I regret not getting to know him better. I saw how well he treated my beloved Grandma Long, his belated mother, and his son Jeff and family. As my father's health declined, his brother Cliff was there, sitting beside him for hours, watching TV or playing games on his phone. A gentle presence. Patient and kind without any expectations. It's only when such people are gone do you realize how much they will be missed. I didn't expect to never see my uncle again when I left Ontario in May. I am so very sorry, Uncle Cliff, that I didn't hold you a little tighter.
