Planted in the area of greatest need

Dale Rice

Like Doug, I have always loved trees and have been known to hug a few.
Here is a quote from artist , Bev Rodin. "I seetrees as a metaphor for life. I believe they represent many things: hope, silence, patience, safety, growth, hospitality, comfort, wildness, universal intelligence, resilience, strength, beauty, Friendship, and shelter. These themes are universal; people from all walks of life can relate to trees."

Peter, Annette, and Alischa Rice

I know that my Uncle Doug liked everything to do with nature, his hockey team even has a big LEAF in its logo, and trees are a trademark of my artwork, so we wanted to donate one to help our world and remember Doug. It was nice to be with the family yesterday at the celebration of Uncle Doug’s life. Our thoughts are with you at this time.
