BEATTY, Gweneth Marie “Gwen” (1934 – 2016) ~ Retired Teacher from the Scarborough Board of Education ~ Entered into rest after a lengthy illness on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Victoria Manor, Lindsay. Gwen in her 83rd year, was the loving sister of Lila Mae (Lou) and her husband Gilbert Watson and James (Jim) and his wife Ann Beatty. Loved and remembered by her nieces Debbie and Marie, her nephews Gleyn and Michael and their families. The family wishes to thank the staff at Victoria Manor, Lindsay and also Jackie Barr for their care and kindness towards Gwen. In keeping with Gwen’s wishes Cremation has taken place, and a Family Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721), and online condolences may be made at www.mackeys.ca
