Obituary for Jo-Anne Smallwood

Smallwood, Jo-Anne - On June 23, 2019 the Lord called an Angel home. It is with great sadness that the Smallwood family announces the passing of Jo-Anne in her 61st year. Daughter of the late Pearn and Dorothea Lockwood. Beloved wife of Gary in their 39th year of marriage. Loving mother of Nathan (Lisette) and Natasha (Brian Paul). Proud grandma of Jean-Nicolas, Alexandre, and Maximus. Jo-Anne is survived by her siblings Linda, Deanna, Dawn, Dana, Daren, and predeceased by siblings Roger and Thomas. In keeping with Jo-Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. If desired, memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Donations may be made via cheque at Mackey Funeral Home (33 Peel Street, Lindsay) or online at www.mackeys.ca

So sorry for the loss of Jo Anne ...I will always remember her and will always cherish her smile and strength and her love of life ! And how a good mom she was for Nathan and Natasha ...she did a magnific job ...Gary, you will have to carry on without her but she will give you the courage one day at a time.. Nathan and Natasha cherish your memories forever ...your mom will help you heal..love you all and thinking of all of you at this time ...this is from Lisette's mom and all her family ...love you all ! Rest in Peace Jo Anne !
