Broom, Robert Franklin -Proud 25 year member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge#659, Lindsay, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Robert who just celebrated his 80th birthday was the beloved husband of Chrystol for 25 years. Cherished father of Robert, Cindy, Suzanne, Lori, Lisa and predeceased by Rick and loving step-father to Kathy, Rick, Debbie, Judy, Kim and Christopher and predeceased by Brian. Will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Family and friends are invited to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street on Wednesday, October 19th, for visitation from 11:00 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, The Canadian Diabetes Association or Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
