Robert “Bucky” Buckingham – After a courageous battle, entered into rest peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, August 16 in 81st year. Bucky was the beloved husband of Vera for 60 years. Loving father of Deborah (Randy), Robert, Janet (Kyle) and Mindy (Keith). Cherished grandfather of Mike (Tammy), Kristopher, Tyrone (Portia), Melissa (Ray), Robbie, Travis, Nicholas, Sabrina; Daniel (Debra), Trevor (Arlene), Katelynn (Christopher), Briannah, Sandy (Jessica) and Corey (Jenn). Great-grandfather to 14 and Honourary of 2. Dear brother of Janet (Ron) Rakush, Doug (Mayda) Buckingham, June (Bill) Gladwish, Stuart Udall, Lanna Abhram, Maggie Udall and predeceased by John Abhram. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, August 19th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the chapel on Saturday, August 20th at 11:00 am. Following Service, Interment at South Valentia Cemetery and Reception at Valentia Hall and Community Centre.
