Donna Bowles

We were childhood friends. There were five of us - Ruth, Donna, Grace Ann, Gloria and Linda. Whether at Wembley Drive, Lake Simcoe, Bathurst Street or Scarborough we were almost always together. As we left our childhood and teens behind and we took on the challenges and commitments of adulthood we became more separated than inseparable; however, the bonds forged in early days were never broken and our love for each other continues. Along with our countless memories from our years of friendship, we
will always remember Ruth’s smile, her patience, her marvellous musical talent, her superior cooking skills and her warm embrace of everyone she met. Our hearts break for her family and we trust that, like us, the memories she left will bring them comfort and peace as their life journey continues. We will love and miss Ruth always.
