Message: I did not know Alan well, only as 'Grandad' to Matty, but I was very sad to hear of his passing. The times I did get to meet him at the house on Maple Lane showed me that he was a generous, caring man who loved greatly and was greatly loved. Memories of him will keep his spirit alive, and I hope they bring you warmth. You are all in my thoughts.
