I will never forget the day that your Uncle Kieth and I came up from Toronto to visit you and your brother Shawn.  Dad had some plans for the day on his motorcycle and asked if we would like to spend some time with you guys.  Of course how hard can it be watching two young boys? Well apparently on our way to the Peterborough Zoo you boys got into a fight over which animal we would see first at the zoo that day and you were sure that you were right and would not back down! You told your brother Shawn in no uncertain terms that you may be younger but you were right and that was that!  Well Shawn decided that since you had your shoes off in the back seat of our car that on Highway 7 he would open the window and ever so nicely throw not only your shoes but your bathing suit, your towel and your extra clothing all over the highway!  Boy were you mad!! You said Aunt Annette Shawn has lost his mind and now my shoes and clothes are out the window!  Uncle Kieth turned the car around and I walked up and down that Highway until I had all your items back into the car safely in my hands.  You looked into my eyes and said Aunt Annette your the best! You don't take any crap from anyone!!

I will always treasure the good times we had and the responsible role you had of beng an usher at our wedding and how handsome you looked in your suit!!

No one can ever say that you didn't fight this disease with every ounce of your body!! I am grateful to have been your Aunt but more importantly you slowed me how to live everyday to the fullest! You are a true hero and I will love you always!
